Hawaiian 1950s vintage inspired bold bird of paradise flower sarong dress S

Vintage 1950s inspired Hawaiian sarong dress made from an imported Hawaiian fabric  

Dress features a fully lined, semi boned bodice (boned at sides) with a sweetheart neckline and vertical ruching at centre bust. It has a centre back zipper and wrap around sarong style skirt with ties on one hip. The ties can be clearly seen in one photo. The halter strap fastens inside the bodice with buttons and is easily removed for a strapless look (not seen in photos)

Size S bust 36, waist 28, hips 38 to 40 inches 

please note - the dress has a size XS label but it is a size Small 

There is no give in this fabric and due to the lining no stretch/give in the bodice. The wrap around sarong skirt does allow a few extra inches on the hips and bum! Length from waist to hem is 27 inches.

The 100% modern cotton fabric, is top quality, soft and drapes well with a beautiful feel and subtle sheen finish to it.

Dry cleaning/ gentle hand wash recommended.
