Very daring for a swimsuit that was designed in the 1940s - and continued through to the 1950s.

In excellent condition - this swimsuit presents as unworn. Its original cord tie is missing and has been replaced with toning navy blue double sided ribbon.

Labelled Martin White and OS

Navy blue nylon satin swimsuit is fully ruched at the back and sides. The elastic has retained its stretch fully.

It is unmarked and without damage.

There is no panty area liner - however the area is clean and unmarked - please see the fifth photo

Features side cut outs and a modesty panel at lower edge

The suit is super stretchy and I would recommend it for a size S/M - it is a little large for my mannequin
Bust - the suit measures 20 inches unstretched from one end to the other - it stretches easily to 26 inches and would have an open area at the back. From the fit the mannequin the best actual bust measurement for it would be 36 inches. An inch or two either side of that would work too.
Waist - unstretched 22 inches - stretches easily to 30 inches, with more to spare.
Lower edge (around the lower part of wearers derrière) 26 inches unstretched, stretches to 34 inches.
