Vintage 1950s long maxi red Hawaiian dress red black gold XL rare

Rare to find a vintage 1950s Hawaiian dress in this size - and its in incredibly good condition too (model pics coming asap)

Labelled Made in Hawaii for the Wil-low

A red background has a print of hibiscus flowers in deeper red, black and gold. Golours bright and gold is as it should be

Made using a border print fabric and clever fabric placement. The boldest part of the fabric design has been used on the centre front panel and the cross over bodice. The back of the dress has the lighter coloured areas of the fabric, with a the crossover bodice panel fastening with black fabric toggles to give added interest.

Dress features, small cap shaped sleeves, a cross over bodice that fastens at centre back (very flattering) centre front splits for ease of movement - these splits are curved so as the wearer kicks open the split, the upper layer of bold print moves showing a lovely curved edge.

Deep V neck at front and a deep scooped neckline at the back

Centre back metal zip fastening

Cotton fabric - colours still vibrant.
